Today was supposed to be my day off. WAS. I was planning to go home and go back to bed after volunteering this morning, but I had to take a shift for tonight. That means I'll probably have to watch Ice Princess a dozen times. *shudders*. I like figure skating, but I hate Michelle Trachtenberg. And the whole idea behind the movie is stupid. Let's see... a teenage girl just decides she's going to start up figure skating because skating is mathematically formulaic, and she's brilliant in math. The fact that she's never worn a skate in her life means nothing? The fact that figure skaters train practically from the time they can walk means nothing? And yet, she thinks she can win the Olympics? Grrr... Silly. The Pacifier was silly but at least is was entertaining to see Vin Deisel do the "Panda Dance". Maybe with a few (read: a tonne) of acting lessons, Miss Trachtenberg could become a good actress. I'm sure she's a nice girl and all, but she can't act. I especially hated her acting on Buffy. Her character was terrible.
